Here is some information about how we manage your data!

We who run the app, Marakanda AB (responsible for personal data), care about you and your privacy. We want to deliver the best service to you, in order to do that we need to use data about you and your phone. Below you can read about what data we collect, how we process it, who we share it with and why. You can also find out how long we store data, your rights and who you can contact if you have questions or want to use your rights.

Why do we collect data about you and your phone?

We can use data we collect about you and your phone for the below purposes:

• To identify and help you solve potential issues with your phone
• To adapt usage tips and offers and make them more relevant for you and your phone
• To diagnose your phones health in relation to others
• To reduce advertising spam in different advertising channels
• To increase the relevance of ads that are shown to you in different advertising channels
• To create statistical reports of trends and behavior

What data to we process?

To fulfill the above purposes we collect the following data: Phone usage and type of hardware, various number that relates to the phone and user, advertising IDs, mobile phone number, phone brand and model, phone settings, installed software, mobile and WiFi usage, information related to mobile networks and WiFi connections, connected devices, device location, sensor data, information about battery and storage.

Where and when do we collect data?

Information is collected when you use the app or, while you have the app installed, occasionally in the background. Collection stops when the app is uninstalled. The collection of data is very slimmed and optimized to not have any noticeable impact on battery life or data use.

What legal rights do we use to process your data?

To process your data we rely on the following legal grounds

• Processing of data is required to fulfill our part of an agreement where you are part (deliver the app service and its described and related functionality)
• Processing is required so that we can perform activities where we have a legitimate interest to process your data (e.g. marketing)

Who do we share data with?

We can share data to partners that helps us in our business or to fulfill the purposes of processing your data. This could be for example companies for advertising and social media such as Facebook & Google as well as companies within the telecom industry with the purpose of reducing spam and increasing ad relevance. We may also need to share data with authorities to fulfill our legal obligations.

Where is your data processed?

Where possible we keep your data within the inner market, EES. If your data is transferred to a 3:rd country we have either ensured that the EU-commission has approved the country for having a sufficient data protection level or signed an EU standard agreement with the receiving party in the 3:rd country.

For how long do we store your data?

We keep your data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose that it is processed.

Your rights

You have rights related to your data that we respect and are happy to help you with. We have listed your rights below, if you want to exercise any of them please send an email to careappprivacy@marakanda.com!

• Right to access – You have the right to know what personal data we process and why as well as getting a copy of them
• Right to correction – If you think we have incorrect information you can request to have this corrected
• Right to limited processing – You can request that we limit the processing of your personal data. This can for example occur if we have incorrect information and processing should be paused until it has been corrected.
• Right to be forgotten – You can request to have your personal data removed from processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to data portability – If processing is based on an agreement or legal contract you can ask to have your personal data exported in a machine readable format so it could be transferred to a 3:rd party.
• Right to object – For processing based on legitimate interest you have the right to object to that your personal data is used. In that case we will weigh your interest vs our legitimate interest and if your interest is deemed more important we will stop processing.
• Right to opt-out from profiling – You always have the right to request to opt-out from profiling (for example that we draw conclusion about you based on information we collect or gather from services like Google analytics or similar services)
